Set your teen up for growth.

letting go mindset self-improvement Oct 24, 2022

Does this sound familiar? You get scared and get involved in your child's problems. Then your body and your thoughts give you signals that maybe you should have stepped away.

But the message they hear is that they're incompetent and incapable. It's the opposite of building confidence.

Before getting involved, pause and ask yourself these questions:
1. Is this an emergency?
2. Whose business is it, really?
3. Could my child take care of this?

4. How important is that it be done my way?

Remember that it doesn't have to be perfect. Win or lose, growth comes through challenges.

Growth is often more important than success. Set your child up for growth.
